The Unitarian Universalists of Basel (UU Basel) is a group of liberal religious of individuals who cherish diversity of thought and belief and support one another in spiritual growth.

UU Basel was formed in 2010 and enjoys widespread support from the worldwide UU community. A number of well respected and sought after ministers have supported our congregation by traveling from elsewhere in Europe and North America. Their efforts are complemented by our own members’ lay-led services, which is being supported by our consultant Reverend Lara Fuchs who will be leading a lay ministry training in Fall of 2018.

We are diverse in faith, gender identity, ethnicity, history and spirituality, but aligned in our desire to make a peaceful difference for the good.

We need not think alike to love alike. We are people of many beliefs and backgrounds: people with a religious background, people with none, people who believe in a God, people who don’t, and people who let the mystery be.

We are Unitarian Universalist and, as personal choice, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Humanist, Jewish, Muslim, Pagan, theist, atheist and agnostic, and more.

Unitarian Universalists of Basel meet on the second and fourth Sundays of each month in Lohnhof 8, Basel. Please see www.uubasel.org for our upcoming schedule.
