EUU is registered as a non-profit organization in France, acknowledging membership across Europe. We have formal By-Laws and a Policy Manual.

About half of EUU members are also members of an EUU fellowship. The other half are not affiliated with a fellowship: they are members-at-large.

EUU members meet annually at the spring retreat to elect officers, approve the budget for the following year, and discuss issues that may arise.

EUU Officers (President, Vice-president, Secretary and Treasurer) serve for one-year terms. The President may serve a maximum of two consecutive terms.

Between the annual meetings, EUU business is conducted by the EUU Coordinating Council, which includes the officers, one delegate from each EUU Fellowship and two delegates to represent the interests of members-at-large.
