Our next EUU At-large Virtual Fellowship will be on Wednesday 25 March at 19:30 CET. The topic will be the spiritual and personal value of fasting.

If you are an EUU At-large member and would like to be part of this online Fellowship, please contact Shulamit Levine-Helleman(at-large@europeanuu.org). Also, If you are a friend or member of EUU and would like to join us as a guest, please contact Shulamit for an invitation and instructions.

Many of us come from traditions which have fasts, and many UUs either continue practicing these traditions or have adopted one or more into our own spiritual practices, whether it is a full day of no eating or drinking (Yom Kippur), a full month of fasting from sunrise to sundown (Ramadan), or a time of fasting from certain grains and yeast (Pesach) or from something we choose to give up (Lent). Fasting has still more different interpretations in Buddhist traditions. We will look at these types of fasts and discuss what value fasting has for each of us. Whether fasting is part of your personal spiritual practice or not, we hope you will join in this discussion and virtual fellowship.

The EUU At-Large Community meets online once a month (on Sunday afternoons or Wednesday evenings) to light candles, check in, share thoughts and be together. This is a ZOOM online meeting. Please join us.

If you have questions about joining the meeting, please contact Shulamit:
