NUUF is organizing a midsummer solstice ceremony together with the druid Taco Ijzerman (you may remember him from the Fall 2017 Spa retreat) and Tina Tomlow from our Women’s Group. We are inviting all interested EUU friends to join us for the weekend of July 6–7 in Amsterdam.
On Saturday July 6 at 14:00 in the Amsterdam Woods, we will celebrate the longest day, the sun at its peak, a turning point in the year, with a beautiful ceremony, friendship, meeting, music, poetry and picnic. In the evening, we will have a social gathering in town, suitable for the whole family. On Sunday, before heading home, we hope you will join our ‘pilgrimage’, an informative walking tour of liberal religious historical sites of Amsterdam, led by Derek Suchard.
