The famous neurologist, the late Oliver Sacks, in his book ‘The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat’, concludes that Hildegard’s visions were caused by severe migraines. Even though Mark deeply appreciates Sacks’ writings, he strongly disagrees with this hypothesis. Come along and make your own mind up!
