The coronavirus pandemic has brought a lot of responses from writers and TV analysts. These range from new hobbies you can start without leaving home to predictions about how long it will be until everything is ‘back to normal.’ But what if things will never get back to normal again?
Let’s think instead about the meaning of the pandemic, and what new directions for the world may be carried by it. Are there things about discovering ourselves as vulnerable that may bring healing instead of harm?
He is the author of seven books, including the award-winning Seeing with Your Ears. The most recent is The Hunch, due for publication in September. A list is available on Amazon.com. When he is not at his small cottage in a Spanish mountain village, he lives in Croydon with his wife, Gilly Fraser, a playwright and TV script writer.
