The first, as we couldn’t have our flower communion at the EUU Retreat, we’re asking you all to plant a sunflower (if you can get the seeds) and to share a picture of it when it comes into bloom later in the year. We planted ours today. Two sunflowers are included in the symbol of the Czech Unitarian Church and represent each of us looking after each other under the ancient Slavic symbol of the sun – the symbol of the Universal God.
