Prague Unitarians – Black Lives Matter Reading Challenge

On Saturday February 27th, one of our younger members (age 17), Kadri Aston, launched a project for ‘Black Lives Matter Reading Challenge.’  Our congregation is sponsoring Kadri to read a number of books on the ‘Black Lives Matter Movement.’  Kadri will read one book per month, will provide a review of the book and what she learned from reading it.  Our congregation is sponsoring Kadri for every book she reads.  The money raised will go to the Black Lives Matter Movement.
We will put the reviews of the books Kadri reads on our website and buy the books that Kadri recommends, this will be a very important resource for our congregation. This ‘Reading Challenge’ is also going towards the social justice activity required as part of Kadri’s International Baccalaureate program.
