Change in Social Action Coordination – Thank You, Jodi and Diana!

By Adrienne Brayman

For the past several years, Jodi Stolzenbach has worked tirelessly to coordinate social action activities across EUU. More recently, Diana Smith joined her as co-coordinator. Together, their tasks have ranged from organizing the collections of eyeglasses, corks, bags, and more at retreats, to ensuring that the teens’ visit to Transylvania is a success, to deciding on the recipients of social action grants, to simply keeping track of what was going on in the fellowships and providing them with support. Diana and Jodi have now decided to step down, and we would like to thank them both for their commitment and hard work during their time as co-coordinators. On a personal note, I can attest to the support they gave me when I began working as social action editor for the Unifier last spring. Their coordination in turn made my job much easier. So thank you, Jodi and Diana, on behalf of all of EUU.

On a more practical note, we are obviously now looking for a new social action coordinator (or co-coordinators). If anyone is interested in volunteering (or has a suggestion of someone else who might be interested), please get in touch by sending an email to president@europeanuu.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
