EUU Social Action is pleased to offer an 8-week virtual discussion group about ethnic justice. We will begin with inclusively examining what it means to be White and then take action based on our insights.

Join us for moderated conversations about white privilege, using the book,: A 28-Day Challenge to Combat Racism, Change the World, and Become a Good Ancestor by Layla F Saad.

Ms. Saad leads readers through a journey of understanding their white privilege and participation in white supremacy so that they can stop (often unconsciously) inflicting damage on all ethnicities: Black, Indigenous and other “people of color,“ and, in turn, help other White people do better too.

We will meet weekly for 8 weeks beginning Thursday 9 July from 19.00 to 20.00. We will determine the best day of the week for everyone at that meeting. A process called the “Circle Way,” described in the workbook, will be the guiding format for group work.
