One of our own, Bettina Lande Tergeist, has published an article about her great, great aunt Dora Lande (1862-1923) in a volume called Translating Women in Germany in the 19th Century; A Biographical Lexicon.

In the article she writes that Dora Lande, who was also a social activist and whose journalistic and academic writings far outnumbered her translations, translated from French and English into her native German.
