Nov. 16th – Come, Come, Whoever You Are! EUU’s Annual General Meeting

All of our European Unitarian Universalist governance decisions are made at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) each November, and every member and friend of EUU is invited and encouraged to attend – let your voice be heard and speak up for a strong future for our community!

The meeting will take place on Zoom, Sunday, Nov. 16th, 15:00 – 17:30 European Central Time. Fellowship and check-ins begin at 15:00, and the business meeting begins at 15:30.

The agenda and the minutes from last year will be sent out to everyone on the EUU mailing list by Oct. 16th. You will also receive the Zoom link for the meeting.

If you receive the Unifier, you are on the mailing list. If you are not receiving our mailings, you can subscribe to the list on the Join our mailing list page on our EUU website.

At the AGM, we enjoy seeing many familiar faces, and we also discuss and vote on our annual budget for the coming year, and a slate of officers who will begin their terms in January 2026. These votes require a simple majority.
The annual general meeting will be run by our president, Bonnie Friedmann, with time-keeping by our vice-president, Cappy Schupp, a budget presentation by our treasurer, Shulamit Levine-Helleman, and notes taken by our secretary, Susan Loy.

If people wish to continue discussions on themes that arise during the meeting that cannot be fully aired to the satisfaction of all, we can use a polling tool to suggest some dates for specific Town Hall meetings to be set in the coming months. It is the hope of the current officers that the EUU community can engage more together on themes connecting our values to our organizational structures, including our By-Laws, our Policy Manual, reflecting more on how and why we come together as a faith community.

Please do contact us ahead of time if you wish to have an item on the agenda.

(You can download our current By-laws and Policy Manual (the get-things-done manual) from the EUU Organizational Documents page on our EUU website. To open these documents, you will need to obtain the document password, which you can obtain from your fellowship CC representative, or from Bonnie, or Susan.)

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Your President, Bonnie, on behalf of all your EUU officers
